Hartsburg , Illinois , is a town of about 350 persons in the midst of the fertile fields of central Illinois . We are about 10 miles north of Lincoln (which is the seat of Logan County ) and in the midst of Bloomington , Decatur , Peoria , and Spring - we are about 35 miles from each. Should you be in Chicago and you desire to visit us, you can make it in about a three-hour drive.  

Hartsburg is home, of course, to our congregation, as well as two other churches. If you walk in downtown Hartsburg, you'll see our water tower, the Hartsburg State Bank, the fire hall, and the Post Office. Hartsburg is also home to Rohlf's Implements, the grain elevator, and Hartsburg-Emden Junior-Senior High School .
